Cooking Time: A Green Salad Soup!

It all happened to the best of us, we buy a salad with the best intentions ever, and one week later we realise that we forgot to use it. And if like us you hate an old salad, but wasting even more, here is a recipe that will save your carrot-ass.


Salad Soup:


  • 1 salad (the average one will be fine but we prefer lamb’s lettuce for a bit of extra taste)

  • 3 potatoes

  • 1 onion

  • A bouillon cube

  • 500 ml of water

  • Some cheese (Philadelphia is the way to go)


Estimated time: 15 min, cooking: 30min


Cut the onion and cook it with some olive oil. When it starts to be brown, add the salad (that you previously cut) and wait for it to reduce.


Add the water, the potatoes (that you cut into slices or cubes), boil it until the potatoes are ready.


Mix it, add the cheese. Eat.


Advice 1: if you do not own a mixer, you can still have a similar result by cutting everything smaller.


Advice 2: Winter might be ending soon, but you can also serve it cold during summer. It is healthy and really light.
